I never thought that Yuwie genuinely monitoring every user’s profile, but the fact they really did is wonderful, It’s the first time that I know some site are doing what they promised to do. At the moment I consider this site safe for people who really are against explicit materials.

I know first hand, because when I’m browsing my friends list to send them comment, I came accross on one of my friend’s profile, and it has a notice in it.

And as I’ve seen on her primary photo, I got a glimpse why it happens.

And this profile also!

Now I wonder how many of them have a locked profile, Yuwie really is different from other social networking site, I have an account on almost all of those well know site for social networking and this site really is unique in every aspect, especially sharing it’s advertising profit to it’s user. I just hope they will stay lengthy with that.

How Yuwie Makes Money

I was curious how it all worked so I did what any other over-educated person would do: I researched it.

Here's an interesting article on the topic:

For years, website owners have tried to make money from their sites by putting up banner ads in hopes of visitors clicking them. The problem with banner ads is that the Internet audience is so immune to them; people do not click on them anymore.

When's the last time you clicked a banner ad?

...Exactly!

Second, in order for the web site owner to earn money from that banner ad, usually the web surfer that clicks has to purchase something. With AdSense, your visitors just have to click the ads. They don't have to purchase a single thing.

Third, most people that use banner ads do not do a good job of matching the ads to the website's content so the click thru percentages are dismal.

With Google's AdSense, not only are you displaying text ads, (which tend to receive a much higher click-thru rate than banner ads), but you are displaying contextual ads that match your website's content....thanks to Google's advanced technology.

Lots of times people think the ads are part of your site's content so they click because the information is relevant to your site. Whereas with banner ads, they often have little relevance and people tend to ignore them no matter how much they flash and fly across the page.

And also a new game, Yuwie survivor, if you’re familiar with the reality TV show Survivor, you voted off those people you want to be out of the game. There are two teams, the first is Team YU and the other one, yes you guest it, Team WIE. It may not be like its TV counterpart which you can win a million dollar prize, but it’s nice for a social networking site to have game like this.

Why I Love It Now

I’ll be lying to myself if I tell you that the possibility of earning dollars is not the real reason for my being into Yuwie, yes it’s true that making money online is a good thing to be thought of, and if that Y-guy hold true to its promises, I should be getting my payout maybe before a year. 1,000 page view a month is a target for every user, I think maybe I could get close to that every month, but to my surprise I get more than that, here is my latest page view as of this posting.

But, now things change, I’m now hook to it, I think I’m being addicted, I really love this site, people are nice, fun, and interesting, I been using Friendster for many years, but it’s kind a boring for me, I posted many blog there but until now I don’t get a single comment, could you imagine that? Majority of its user’s don’t even know the group discussion or maybe don’t even care about it.

I like Yuwie better than any other social networking site, I posted quite a few blog entry, and I know I’m just really trying hard, ha ha ha. And surprisingly enough I still got many comments. Here’s my latest blog, just after an hour of posting, and few sentences.

And everyday, you will receive comments, I now hit the mark of 600 comments, I got this for less than 2 months of being a member. I can’t remember how long I been to Friendster, Maybe 2 years or so? But my comments just close to a hundred. Here are some of my comments in Yuwie.

The one that I invite.

When you add someone.

When someone see you online.

When you request for an add.

If you send some funny comment.

They even message about your comment.

Some even offer you a help, like this Math Wizard.

A hug from a beautiful girl, not really… Lol

And when someone goes to vacation, they even message you about it.

Is Yuwie a Scam?

The first thing that people will tell you when you said that the estimated total earning you can get per month is more than $10,000, "it's a scam". So how do you really know if it’s a scam or not, since it was merely on it's early days, so I decided to try hoping I could find out if its really a scam or not. Since it’s free I have nothing to lose.

I joined Yuwie on August 5, 2007, I can't find out if it really pay its user if I don’t accumulate page hits or impression, That’s the way they pay their users, 5 cents per 1,000 hits and you needed $50 for a payout, I couldn’t acquire that myself, if I average 2,000 hits a month, and I needed 20,000 page view to get $1, then it would take me, say what! 41 years and 6 months? For my first payout. Correct me if my math is wrong. So what’s needed is the power of exponential growth. To speed things up I invited other to join, some are my friends that are willing, and to get more, I posted on forum that I was already a member, it was a slow start, still that wouldn’t be enough to reach that $50 payout by the end of the year, So I joined many group, and to make it work I pick the one with large member. The first week was a slow start; maybe some who read my posting are hesitant, since there’s lot of scam going around. On week two it started to pick up a little bit and by the end of the month a total referrals of 88, but most of it are inactive, maybe half or more.

September, here comes the my first RSR of August, it said that I only generate a total of 5,490 page views for the month, 2,211 is mine, 2,329 was my level one referral page views, my level two 821, and 127 for level tree, and the last level that I have which is level four is only 2 hits. So my total earning was, don’t get excited, a mere $0.25. I wasn’t disappointed though, at least I could see that it really is feasible, I already use friendster very long, but I don’t get even a single cent doing that. It’s long way for me to prove if it’s for real.

But the good things is, I already enjoying Yuwie more than any other social network, Friendster is kind a boring to me, people there are busy adding friends, what’s the use of many when you don’t have a connection with them? It’ll just defeat the purpose of Social Networking, I posted many blog there, but I don’t even get a single comment, but in Yuwie comments are flooding, If you view others they’ll view back your page. You send a comment expect you get one too. Kindness begets kindness. I think even if Yuwie don’t pay, I still stick to that, I’ve already receive payment for my effort, friends that are really friends who help, quite a few knowledge on how to earn online without spending something but effort and time, not much, but it’s worth more than nothing and real blogging that enthuse me do some for my community.

Yuwie is growing very fast...it has gone from 3,500 to over 50,000 in the last 5 weeks and gone from the 586,000 ranked website to the 2,000th ranked website in just over a month.

What is it?

Yuwie is the only social networking site that pays it user.

How it works?

GOAL: Get 3 people who join Yuwie who get 3 people for 10 levels with an average of 1,000 page views. Actually it's you who need around 1,000 hits to get 5 cents (depending on how well the site does this month). The point is that, if you refer many people who refer many people, you could actually make money. If you have 20 referrals who have 1,000 hits per month at 5 cents each, you will actually have 1 dollar a month. It’s not much though, but, picture the big scenario.
